Virtua Fighter Art Study - Akira
This really forced me to try to understand color theory more than I normally do and now I know how to apply volume a bit more than before, so that's good at least.

I'm not subtle about it whatsoever but I've been in a major Virtua Fighter kick since I was able to get 5 REVO on PC. Never had a 7th gen console, let alone a PS4, so the series really eluded me outside of the Genesis version of VF2 which is the only one that really got re-released often. Not fun.
But yeah, Akira Yuki here. I found a screenshot from the Model 1 arcade version, realized I've been avoiding doing color studies, and decided to just grind this after work.
This timelapse really inspired me to try my hand at this, but unlike them I didn't draw anything underneath, so this wasn't exactly me doing anything correctly, but I finished it and at this point that's what counts.
